Prof. dr Vujadin B. Vešović, dipl. inž, redovni profesor, dekan Fakulteta za saobraćaj, komunikacije i logistiku u Budvi, rođen je 18.12.1939. godine u Crnom Vrhu, Berane.

Završio je 1966. godine Saobraćajni fakultet u Beogradu. Magistrirao je 1972. godine, a doktorirao 1976. godine na Mašinskom fakultetu u Beogradu.

Kao korisnik stipendije IREX u periodu avgust 1973. do avgusta 1974. godine bio je na istraživanjima u oblasti tehnologije, organizacije i menadžmenta u SAD na univerzitetima: Princenton University, Florida State University, Harvard University, University of California – Los Angeles, Univesity of Michigen. 

Na kraćim studijskim boravcima bio je u Poljskoj, Čehoslovačkoj i Nemačkoj. 

Od 1959. do 1961. i od 1966. do 1975. godine radio je u ŽTP Titograd i ŽTP Beograd na radnim mestima otpravnika vozova, načelnika službe, šefa sekcije, rukovodioca sektora i direktora OOUR, a od 1975. do 1977. godine na Tehničkom fakultetu u Titogradu. 

Na Saobraćajnom fakultetu u Beogradu 1977. godine izabran je za docenta, 1981. godine u zvanje vanrednog profesora, a 1986. godine u zvanje redovnog profesora. 

Na Saobraćajnom fakultetu držao je nastavu na redovnim studijama, magistarskim i specijalističkim studijama. Po pozivu držao je predavanja na Ekonomskom fakultetu u Beogradu na redovnim studijama, Saobraćajno-tehničkom fakultetu u Doboju na magistarskim studijama, Vojno-tehničkoj akademiji na redovnim i magistarskim studijama. 

Za potrebe Savezne uprave kontrole letenja držao je predavanja na seminarima za ruko¬vodeće kadrove. Organizovao je seminare i držao predavanja za kolegijum generalnog direktora ŽTP Beograd, ŽTP Novi Sad i mnoge druge. 

Sada drži nastavu na Fakultetu za saobraćaj, komunikacije i logistiku u  Budvi  na redovnim i magistarskim studijama.   

Osnivač i dugogodišnji rukovodilac je Katedre za organizaciju, mena-džment i ekonomiju saobraćaja i transporta, smera magistarskih studija Menadžment u saobraćaju i transportu i specijalističkih studija Menadžment u saobraćaju i transportu na Saobraćajnom fakultetu u Beogradu i magistarskih studija Menadžment u saobraćaju i komunikacijama na Saobraćajnom fakultetu u Doboju i Beranama. 

Bio je direktor Instituta Saobraćajnog fakulteta u dva mandata (1981-1985), dekan Saobraćajnog fakulteta u Beogradu (1988-2000), potpredsednik Jugoslovenske inženjerske akademije (2003-2007) i direktor Instituta ove Akademije (2006-2008). Bio je mentor izrade 9 doktorskih disertacija, 19 magistarskih teza i velikog broja diplomskih radova.

Od septembra 2008. godine je dekan Fakulteta za menadžment u saobraćaju i komunikacijama u Beranama, a sada Fakulteta za saobraćaj, komunikacije i logistiku u Budvi. Oblast kojom se bavi je organizacija i menadžment u saobraćaju. 

Bio je član Upravnog odbora i Skupštine Zajednice Jugoslovenskih želenica, član Saveta za naučnotehničke informacije SFRJ, član Skupštine Univerziteta u Beogradu , predsednik Saveta Saobraćajnog fakulteta u Beogradu, član Naučnog veća Centra za menadžment Univerziteta u Beogradu, član Redakcije časopisa Tehnika-Organizacije rada, član Jugoslovenske asocijacije za upravljanje projektima YUMPA, član Odbora za tehničko-tehnološke nauke Ministarstva za nauku i tehnologiju Srbije, ekspert Saveznog sekre¬tarijata za razvoj i nauku u oblasti: organizacione nauke i menadžmenta (menadžment, organizacija, tehnološki razvoj ), član Komisije za dodelu nagrade grada Beograda za prirodne i tehničke nauke. Izabran je za zaslužnog člana Saveza inženjera i tehničara Srbije 2004 godine. Sada je član Upravnog odbora udruženja za upravljanje projektima YUMPA i urednik Menadžmenta u časopisu Tehnika.Koautor je Elaborata sa nastavnim planovima i programima za Menadžment na Fakultetu za pomorstvu u Kotoru.

 Autor je Elaborata sa nastavnim planovima i programima Odseka za drumski saobraćaj na Mašinskom faku-ltetu u Podgorici, Elaborata sa nastavnim planovima i programima za osni¬vanje Saobraćajnog fakulteta u Doboju i kompletne dokumentacije za akreditaciju Fakulteta za menadžment u saobraćaju i komunikacijama u Beranama. Autor i koautor je preko 79 naučno–istraživačka i istraživačka projekata od kojih su 10 finansirani od strane Svetske banke. Rukovodio je izradom 33 naučno – istraživačka i i istraživačko – razvojna projekta, među kojima i projekata od strateškog značaja za razvoj saobraćajnog sistema Jugoslavije (5 saveznih i 15 republičkih). 

Bio je rukovodilac Jugoslovenskog ekspertskog tima za izradu Strategije razvoja saobraćaja i veza SFRJ i brojnih drugih. U okviru Privredne komore Jugoslavije koordinirao je izradu i bio jedan od autora tri stručne monografije kojima su predstavljene mogućnosti jugo¬slovenskog inženjeringa u oblasti saobraćaja. Monografije su prezentovane na jugoslovenskim privrednim izložbama u Montrealu, Pekingu i Moskvi.Objavio je samostalno i sa drugi autorima 9 univerzitetskih udžbenika i 22 monografije, od kojih su dve štampane na engleskom, jedna na ruskom i jedna na kineskom. 

Najznačajnije knjige su: (1) Organizacija saobraćajnih preduzeća, 1998, 2002, 2007, 2014; (2) Menadžment u saobraćaju, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008,2016; (3) Organizacija i upravljanje poslovnim sistemima 1987; (4) Strateški menadžment u saobraćaju, 2009.

Autor je 146 naučna i stručna rada objavljena u nacionalnim ili međunarodnim časopisima, ili saopštena na nacionalnim ili međunarodnim skupovima, među kojima je 36 uvodna referata i referata po pozivu. Takođe je autor 60 ekspertiza i recenzija, a učestvovao je po pozivu sa saopštenjem na 23 naučno-stručna skupa na kojima su razmatrane teme od stateškog značaja. U organizaciji Saveza inženjera i tehničara Jugoslavije, a u saradnji sa Saveznim ministarstvom za saobraćaj i veze, Saveznim ministarstvom za razvoj, nauku i životnu sredinu i Privrednom komorom Jugoslavije organi-zovao je 9 naučno – stručnih skupova uključujući i II Kongres o saobraćaju, većinu njih sa međunarodnim učešćem, na kojima je podneo uvodne referate. 

Bio je editor zbornika radova na preko 20 naučno - stručnih skupova.Sa saradnicima razvio je brojne metodologije iz oblasti organizacije i menadžmenta u saobraćaju. 

Za postignute rezultate na Jugoslovenskim željeznicama dodeljena mu je 15-to Aprilska nagrada za 1973. godinu najveće priznanje na Jugoslovenskim željeznicama. Odlikovan je ordenom rada sa zlatnim vencem 1990. godine, dobitnik je brojnih povelja i priznanja. 

Oženjen je, ima četvoro dece.


Professor Vujadin Vešović, Ph.D.


Prof. Dr. Vujadin B. Vesovic, Dipl. Eng., full professor, Dean of the Faculty for Traffic, Communication and Logistic in Budva. He was born in Crni Vrh, Berane December 18th, 1939. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in 1966 from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering. He obtained his master’s degree in 1972, and graduated in 1976 at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

He was awarded a fellowship by IREX from August 1973. to August 1974. performing research in the field of technology organization and management in the USA, at Princeton University, Florida State University, Harvard University, the University of California at Los Angeles, and the University of Michigan. He spent a sabbatical in Poland, Czechoslovakia and Germany.

From 1959. to 1961. and from 1966. to 1975. he worked for the ZTP Podgorica and ZTP Belgrade as a train dispatcher, department head and section chief, head of sector and director of OOUR. From 1975. to 1977. he was a lecturer at the Technical Faculty of the University of Titograd.

In 1977 he was elected as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Transpo­rtation and Traffic Engineering of the University of Belgrade. In 1981. he was promo­ted to the associated professor rank and in 1986 he was promoted to the full pro­fessor performing research. At the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade he taught undergraduate, master and specialist studies. He was an invited lecturer at the Faculty of Economy (undergraduate studies); the Faculty of Technical Transportation, University of Doboj (master studies); the Military Academy of Belgrade (undergraduate and master studies) and the Federal Air Traffic Control. He organized seminars and gave talks to the board of directors of the ZTP Belgrade, ZTP Novi Sad and several others. At present, he is teaching undergra­duate and master studies at the Faculty for Traffic, Communication and Logistic in Budva.

Over many years he has been a founder and director of the department of  organization, management and economy in traffic and transportation; master studies in Management in traffic and transportation and specialist studies in Management in traffic and transportation at the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade; master studies in Management in traffic and communi­cations at the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering in Doboj and Be­rane. He was a director of the institute at the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade for 2 terms (1981-1985), dean of the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade (1988-2000), vice-president of the Yugoslavian Academy of Engineering (2003-2007) and director of the institute of the Yugoslavian Academy of Engineering (2006-2008). He was a mentor to 9 PhD theses, 19 master and many undergraduate theses. Since Septe­mber 2008, he is the dean of the Faculty for Management in Traffic and Commu­nications in Berane, at present Faculty for Traffic, Communication and Logistic in Budva . His area of research is the organization and management of traffic.

He was a member of the steering-committee and the assembly of the Com­munity of Yugoslavian Railways, member of the council for scientific-technical infor­mation SFRJ, member of the assembly of the University of Belgrade, president of the council of the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade, member of the scientific council at the Center of Management at the Uni­versity of Belgrade, member of the editorial office of the “Tehnika Organizacija Rada”, member of the Yugoslavian association for project management YUMPA, member of the board for technical and technological sciences at the Ministry for Sci­ence and Technology of Serbia, Expert for the Federal Secretary for Development and Science in the area of organizational sciences and management (management, organization, and technological development), member of the award committee of the city of Belgrade for natural and technical sciences. In 2004 he was elected as an honorary member of the Union of Engineers and Technicians of Serbia. At present he is a member of the steering committee of the Yugoslavian association for project management YUMPA and editor of management in the magazine “Tehnika”.

He is a co-author of the handbook with teaching plans and programs for mana­gement at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor. He is the author of a handbook with teaching plans and programs at the department for Road Traffic at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica, a handbook with teaching plans and pro­grams for establishing the Faculty of Transportation and Traffic Engineering in Doboj and complete documentation for accreditation of the Faculty for Management in Traffic and Communications in Berane.

He is an author and co-author of over 79 scientific research projects of which ten were funded by the World Bank. He was leading 33 scientific research and research-development projects, among those several with strategic relevance for the development of traffic systems in Yugoslavia (federal (5) and republic (15)). He was the head of the Yugoslavian expert team for the drafting of the strategy of development of traffic and connections SFRJ and many others.

Within the Yugoslavian Chamber of Commerce he was an author of three scientific monographs reflecting the present opportunities for Yugoslavian engine­ering in the area of traffic. The monographs were presented on the Yugoslavian economical exhibitions in Montreal, Beijing and Moscow.

He published independently and in collaboration with other authors nine univer­sity textbooks and 22 monographs, two of which were translated in English, one in Russian and one in Chinese. Among those, the most important books are: 1) Orga­niztion of traffic enterprises, 1998, 2002, 2007, 2014; 2) Management in traffic, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008 and 2016. 3) Organization and management of business models 1987; 4) Strategic mana­gement in traffic, 2009. 

He is an author of 146 scientific and professional articles published in national and international journals, or presented on national and international conferences, of which 36 were plenary or opening lectures. Furthermore, he is an author of 60 reviews and expert articles and was also invited to 23 scientific and professional meetings to discuss topics of strategic importance.

Together with the Union of Engineers and Technicians of Serbia, and in colla­boration with the Federal Ministry for Transport and Connections, the Federal Mini­stry of Development, Science and Environment, and the Chamber of Commerce of Yugoslavia he organized nine scientific and professional meetings, including the 2nd Conference of Traffic; most of them with international participation, at which he gave the opening address. He was an editor of the proceedings on over 20 scientific and professional conferences.

With his colleagues he developed several methodologies on the subject of orga­nization and management in traffic. 

For his accomplishments he was awarded with the “April 15th Award” in 1973 by the Yugoslavian railways (this is the highest recognition by the Yugoslavian rail­ways). He was also awarded with the Order of Work with Golden Wreath of Yugo­slavia in 1990; he further received many charters and recognitions. He is married and has four children.
